The new series “Un Hombre Viviendo” is being shown at Factoria Habana Gallery as part of the group show D’Disegno. Respuesta cubana,
curated by Concha Fontenla. After a very concurred opening of more than 1000 people, it will remain open to the public until December 2013.
These are my thoughts on these series:
“A man is born in a place he did not choose and inherits its culture, language and nationality. It’s something that happens to him.
It’s a process that defines and limits him. In these series, I speak from my experience about leaving my country, discovering the world, and the intensity of the path chosen.
I strongly believe that growing is painful and beautiful. A man doesn’t limit himself to the extension of his arms.
We are a magnificent impulse that inhabits everywhere”.
